Sr. Residential & Hospitality Interior Designer

One of our High-end Residential & Hospitality Interior Design clients is looking for a talented Sr. Interior Designer for a full-time Direct-hire position. The Sr. Designer will manage all project-related tasks from client meetings and contractor coordination to installations as follows:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
• Coordinate and participate in the preparation of all steps of design including:
--- Design presentations
--- 3D Models & views
--- Rendered plans, elevations, and views
--- Specifications and drawings
--- Full set of construction drawings
--- Finish, hardware, & plumbing selection and specifications
--- FFE selection
--- Custom furniture design and documentation
--- Finish boards and/or boxes
--- FFE binders
• Manage design coordination between clients and consultants.
• Track purchase orders, and light book keeping.
• Expedite and follow-up on order status. Communicate and work with vendors to
acquire quotes and lead times.
• Draft floor plans and elevations in AutoCAD, as well as, sourcing/selection of
furniture, fabrics, finishes and accessories.
• Visits to vendors and SF Design Center to source/return materials.
• Attend site visits and client presentations and coordination meetings.
• Present design presentations to clients and consultants.
• Site visits to measure and construction administration.
• General office duties including phones, filing, copying, office and resource library
organization.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• 8+ years experience in the Interior Design field
• MUST be proficient in AutoCAD and have excellent computer skills. Proficiency
in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and MS Office.
• Working knowledge of design process, furniture & fabrics, design styles, window
covering, and fabrication.
• Highly professional and neat office demeanor with excellent client service
manner.
• Great communication skills, work ethic, attitude, and flexibility. Detail oriented,
organized, and ability to multitask.
• Strong conceptual design approach.
• Proven organizational abilities and attention to detail with the ability to manage
multiple projects across various phases.
• Strong experience in management and coordination of construction drawing sets
with strong knowledge of construction detailing, materials, methods, and codes.
• Is collaborative, self-motivated, positive, and flexible with strong verbal and
written communication skills.
• You must have a car and a valid driver's license.

EDUCATION:
• BA/BS in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
