Project Manager


Our client is an Architecture firm. They are seeking a creative, team-oriented member to join their company as a full-time Direct-hire.  They are looking for a "people person" to join their collaborative team working in the Multi-family Residential housing space.  They are currently looking for a candidate to assist them in their San Diego office with Multi-family new and Rehabilitation projects. You must be well organized and possess strong communication skills plus the ability to mentor and manage people, projects, and client relationships.

Typical tasks include:

·         Manage job captains / project team members

·         Develop project schedules

·         Understand and mange contracts and agreements

·         Build consultant teams around projects

·         Coordinate and review projects and consultants construction documents

·         Monitor scope to assure compliance as directed by the client

·         Mange progress and update project schedules to meet targeted deadlines

·         Attend project meetings with clients, contractors and local jurisdictions

·         Serve as mentor to staff as necessary

Qualifications to include:

·         Minimum 4-year Architectural degree required

·         Licensed California Architect preferred but not required

·         Experience with rehabilitation of existing buildings, preferably multi-family properties

·         Strong technical skills

·         Understanding of client relations, planning, budgeting, and execution of project work

·         Basic understanding and proficiency using the following software:

o   -AutoCad and/or REVIT

o   -SketchUP

o   -Adobe Suite

o   -MS Office
